The official description is direct: your animals earn money offline. That payout is how short sessions still buy treadmill time, pen slots, and the next biome. Logging off with empty slots, or with only the first Grass animals long after you can hatch better ones, wakes you up behind.
Unhatched eggs do not print that cash. The earners are animals already in the pen.
Logout checklist
- Stop stealing with enough time to get home. Do not start a Mythical run you cannot finish.
- Reach the plot alive.
- Place every egg you are carrying into a free slot.
- Hatch them. An egg left for later earns nothing overnight unless the pen is already full of better animals and you will hatch the moment you return.
- If the pen is full and the new animal wins the tooltip comparison, sell the lowest earner and seat the new one.
- Fill every remaining slot with the best animals you own for the biomes you can actually clear.
- Leave. The claim matters when you come back, not as a special button before logout.
When you rejoin
- Let the plot and HUD load.
- Claim offline earnings before a shop spree or a risky steal.
- Hatch anything still waiting.
- If eggs were blocked, buy capacity. If clears are failing, train. If returns fail despite Speed, look at trails. Order: upgrades.
- Only then open a biome run.
Dying on the first path after you skip the claim throws away the calm part of your progress.
What improves the overnight pen
Speed lets you reach biomes with stronger eggs. Clean steals deliver them. Hatching turns them into earners. Capacity keeps more of them overnight. Grass animals are the right overnight pen on day one. By Desert and Beach you should be replacing fillers. A long absence or a new update stamp is a reason to reread tooltips and cull a pen that has become a museum. Start that rebuild from getting started if the plot no longer makes sense.
Short sessions
Fifteen minutes is enough: claim, hatch, a brief treadmill top-up, one or two steals you can finish, hatch again, leave. A longer session can add a focused training block and a trail only if movement is why returns fail.
