The experience page tells you to train Speed on the treadmill so you go faster and jump higher. That Speed is what makes later egg returns possible. Short attentive sets beat wandering off the pad. No biome lists a required Speed number.

Train until your target biome clears with time left, then go steal. A 2x train offer, if one is on your screen, only helps while you are on the trainer.
